Stanford University invites applications for the 2016 Nano- and Quantum Science and Engineering Postdoctoral Fellowships. We seek candidates with research interests at the interface between engineering and physical sciences, in particular in the area of nano- and quantum science and engineering. We are especially looking for candidates who will build a clear bridge between physical sciences and engineering applications.

Candidates are encouraged to contact faculty members from the participating departments (Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science, and Physics) to discuss possible research areas prior to submitting an application. The initial appointment includes 2 years of support with an annual salary of approximately $60,000 and benefits.

Eligibility: For consideration, candidates must have completed a PhD degree by September 1, 2016. The fellowship is open to US Citizens or international candidates. Candidates from groups that are under-represented in their disciplines, including women, ethnic minorities and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
