Research
The NMRQC group focusses on experimental realization of quantum information processing by NMR. The group led by Prof. Anil Kumar has (i) preparde pseudopure states, (ii) implemented quantum gates, (iii) implemented various quantum algorithms by one-dimensional and two-dimensional NMR and (iv) developed efficient quantum-state tomography. The group specializes in use of transition-selective pulses for quantum information processing. To achieve higher quabit systems, quadrupolar, dipolar and strongly coupled spin systems are also being examined.
