Problems for discussion

This is preliminary list of topics and problems. I you find it incomplete suggest new one.

  • new logo - done - the old one stays
  • open problems and arxiv
  • move ERA to new namespace - done - almost
  • find out how to avoid 'Group' prefix
  • Email notification? (It would be nice to be able to get emails on watchlist) - problem with the mail on the server
  • Email confirmation and password reminder work but don't show confirmation webpage

Technical issues

  • Open problems will be converted to the mediawiki format.
  • ERA Quantiki Project - should it be in separate namespace?
  • References system - it should be improved.
  • Improve searching ('Special:Search' page) - for example at the moment it is hard to find information about entanglement since ERA project pages have a lot of articles about it.
  • Reorganization of the list of groups and people: the groups should be linked to say a map, with geographical regions, like on the cam.qubit.org website; I would very appreciate if you would like to take part in this meeting.
  • People should both be categorized into senior, junior researchers (?) and into the groups.
  • Organization of the left panel (navigation and toolbox).

Organisational problems

  • Project publicity. (How to attract more people?)
  • Project coordination and management.

Visions and ideas

  • How about a wrapper for arxiv.org that allows to add comments and discussion?

Dates

Meeting will take place between 29th of May and 2nd of June. One day for discussion and few (3-4) days for implementation.
