Cryptology is an area of study and research which has numerous applications especially in the area of information and communication technology. The 4th International Cryptology and Information Security Conference 2014 (Cryptology2014) is one of the many steps towards enhancing and realizing research and applications of cryptology in Malaysia through research collaboration and discussion with research counterparts from the international arena.

The Institute for Logic, Language & Computation (ILLC) at the University of Amsterdam, and the Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) are looking for a PhD candidate in the area of quantum cryptography.

The fourth International Iran Conference on Quantum Information (IICQI 2014), organized jointly by Sharif University of Technology's Department of Physics and the University of Calgary's Institute for Quantum Science and Technology [http://www.iqst.ca/], will be held in Kish Island, Iran, September 6-10, 2014.
