Welcome to Quantiki

Welcome to Quantiki, the world's leading portal for everyone involved in quantum information science. No matter if you are a researcher, a student or an enthusiast of quantum theory, this is the place you are going to find useful and enjoyable! While here on Quantiki you can: browse our content, including fascinating and educative articles, then create your own account and log in to gain more editorial possibilities.

Add new content, such as information about upcoming quantum events, open positions for quantum scientists and existing quantum research groups. We also encourage to follow us using social media sites.

A postdoctoral research fellowship is available in the Queensland Quantum Optics Laboratory. The successful candidate will work with PhD students on the development of quantum technologies based on integrated optical microresonators. These will include quantum opto-mechanical systems (QOMS) based on radiation pressure coupling of mechanical and optical degrees of freedom, advanced single molecule biosensors, and fibre coupled integrated quantum information networks.

Postdoc: Postdoctoral Position in Theoretical Condensed Matter and Quantum Information

At
University of Salerno - Department of Mathematics and Informatics, Quantum Theory Group

Field(s):

condensed matter, optics and optoelectronics, quantum mechanics, theoretical physics

This fellowship is a full-time three-year fixed-term fellowship funded under the recently established Perimeter Institute — Australia Foundations (PIAF) partnership. The Australian side involves Griffith University, the University of Queensland, and the University of Sydney. The successful applicant will be based at Griffith University in Brisbane, but will be supported to spend three months per year visiting other partners, split between Sydney and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Canada.

The Mathematics Department of Saint Anselm College invites applications for two tenure-track appointments, to begin fall 2008. We are looking for excellence in teaching and scholarship. Saint Anselm College is an undergraduate, liberal arts college. The teaching load is 3/3, and the class sizes are small. There is little teaching below the rigorous calculus level (at most, one course a semester).

We are currently offering several postdoctoral positions to highly motivated and well-qualified young researchers who intend to enhance their career in the field of quantum information science. The successful candidates will work in the research group for quantum information theory led by Prof. Jens Eisert at the University of Potsdam in the Berlin-Potsdam metropolitan area.

The positions will be funded either by the EU project COMPAS (Computing with Mesoscopic Photonic and Atomic States) or by the European Young Research Investigator Award of the group leader.
