2. Required Qualifications
□ Doctoral degree in relevant research fields.
□ Qualified under “State Public Officials Act” of Korean Government.

3. Terms of Appointment
- Period of Appointment
□ The initial appointment for Research Fellow is for two years with the possibility of a one-time renewal of two or three additional years, depending on the research performance and the needs of the research program at KIAS.
□ The actual period of appointment can be adjusted if the research program requires such adjustments.

-Salary & Benefits
□ The annual salary and other benefits are provided in accordance with KIAS regulations.
- The annual salary starts from 48,500,000 Korean Won, including severance pay and 4 major social insurances.
- An individual research grant(Up to 10,000,000 Korean Won) and a benefit card (2,000,000 Korean Won) will be provided each year.
□ Benefits include the coverage of 4 major social insurances; national pension, health insurance, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance.

4. Review Process
1) Initial screening: Early to mid Dec., 2022 (Subject to change)

2) Interview: Mid to late Dec., 2022 (Subject to change)
□ Demonstration of expertise in the relevant research fields
