Three postdoctoral positions in theoretical quantum information science, Fudan University, Shanghai
Three postdoctoral positions in theoretical quantum information science are available immediately in the group of Prof. Huangjun Zhu in Department of Physics, Fudan University. The positions last for two years, with possibility of extension. Successful applicants are expected to conduct high-quality research in various areas of quantum information science, including but not limited to quantum measurements, quantum tomography, and quantum computation. There will be opportunities to work with Prof. Zhu and other faculty members at Fudan University, including Prof. Yu Shi, Prof. Yidun Wan, Prof. Ling-Yan (Janet) Hung, and Prof. Xiaopeng Li. Independent research is also encouraged. Competitive salary, sufficient travel funding, and other benefits from the university will be provided.
Applicants should hold PhD in physics, mathematics, or an equivalent, with strong background in physics and mathematics. Researchers from all areas of quantum information science are welcome, though research experiences in one or more of the following topics would be desirable:
1. Quantum measurements, quantum tomography, quantum metrology, state verification, and randomized benchmarking.
2. Quantum computation, quantum algorithm, and quantum error correction.
