We are excited to announce that Quantum Thermodynamics Down Under (QTDU) will be back this year, in Brisbane, Australia, and we are now accepting abstract submissions.
QTDU2024 is an opportunity for researchers in quantum thermodynamics and related fields to get to know each other, fostering new connections and collaborations across Australia, the Asia-Pacific region, and internationally.
When: 12th--15th of November 2024
Where: 308 Queen Street, Brisbane (the University of Queensland's city campus)
The four-day conference is centred around, but not limited to, four themes:
- Fundamental questions in quantum thermodynamics.
- Quantum thermal machines and fluctuation theorems.
- Connections between quantum thermodynamics and other fields, e.g. quantum information, relativity, quantum biology.
- Practical applications to industry and science communication.
We are excited to announce our confirmed invited speakers:
- Masahito Ueda, The University of Tokyo, Japan
- Alexia Auffèves, CNRS International Research Lab MajuLab, France/Singapore
- Karen Kheruntsyan, The University of Queensland, Australia
