The National Conference 2027: From Quantum Foundations to Quantum Technologies (QF2T 2027) will be held at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, India, from 6 to 8 February 2027. It is hosted by the Department of Physics, IIT Jodhpur. The conference will be held in person.
The conference aims to provide a national platform where established experts, researchers at the start of their careers, scientists from R&D laboratories, and R&D professionals from industry and start-ups can present their latest work across the breadth of quantum science and technology, exchange ideas and explore new directions. It seeks in particular to draw doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers and early-career faculty, and a dedicated contributed-talk and poster session will give younger participants a platform of their own.
The programme comprises invited lectures, contributed talks, a poster session and dedicated industry sessions, in which R&D professionals from companies and start-ups present the problems they are working on and meet the researchers whose work bears on them.
Conference themes:
- Foundations of Quantum Mechanics
- Quantum Information & Communication
- Quantum Computation
- Quantum Thermodynamics
- Quantum Sensing & Metrology
- Open Quantum Systems
- Quantum Optics
- Quantum Many-body Systems
Conference themes include, but are not limited to, those listed above.
The programme comprises invited lectures, contributed talks, a poster session and industry sessions.
