Qalypso - a Summer School on Quantum Computing and Open Quantum Systems is being held on the beautiful Maltese island of Gozo 5th - 9th September.
The school features a basics track, created incollaboration with our main sponsor Quantinuum, which includes a 3 day crashcourse on quantum computing followed by a 2 day hackathon targeted towards undergraduate, master's students and individual starting their journey in quantum computing.
The advanced track is centred around the theme of the thermodynamics of quantum computation and features leading experts in the field such Marcus Huber, John Goold, Massimo Palma, Sabrina Maniscalco and other speaking on open quantum systems, quantum control and quantum thermodynamics. This track will also feature collaborative work and discussion opportunities and is targeted towards PhD students, Postdocs and researchers that want to start thinking about thermodynamics and information processing.
