The field of gravitational quantum physics brings together ideas from quantum information, metrology, and gravitational physics to address questions such as how gravity affects quantum states, whether quantum properties of gravity can be tested in the weak field regime far below the Planck scale, how relativistic concepts extend to quantum systems, and how these effects can be tested experimentally. Many of these questions can now be explored with near-term laboratory experiments and with emerging space-based platforms. The workshop aims to provide a forum for exchange between theorists and experimentalists working on these topics. It focuses on recent results, open theoretical issues, and realistic experimental proposals, and seeks to strengthen coordination within the European research community active in gravitational quantum physics.

- Space-based quantum experiments and quantum technologies in space
The workshop is the main event for the year 2026 of WG2, on Gravitational Quantum Physics and Metrology, in the RQI COST Action.
