PhD

We seek for highly motivated, skilled, and independent graduate students that wish to develop their scientific career in a stimulating environment. This doctoral degree project will be carried out in the Quantum Photonics group led by Ana Predojevic (http://qphotonics.fysik.su.se). The successful candidate should have interest in quantum technologies, specifically quantum information and communication.

PhD position funded by the European Union through QuantERA program STAQS:

``Shortcuts to Adiabaticity for Quantum Computation and Simulation'',

see https://www.quantera.eu/137-results-of-the-quantera-call-2021

PIs of the project: Jacek Dziarmaga and Marek M. Rams

Where: Institute of Theoretical Physics, Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland
How long: 36 months
Position is open from October 1, 2022.

Two fully funded PhD positions available within the Quantum Technology Group at Queen's University Belfast to work on the development of quantum networks, open-system dynamics of non-equilibrium quantum systems, quantum control (including machine learning fro quantum information), and the resource theory of entanglement distribution.

Do you want to be part of the 2nd quantum revolution? Do you want to bring photonic technologies to a single quantum level? Do you want to build novel photonic quantum processors?

PhotonQ aims at building a photonic quantum processor and create novel methods for efficient photonic information processing.

The Polyquantique research group led by Nicolás Quesada specializes in quantum photonics and quantum information. The group is looking for highly motivated candidates at all levels (graduate students, postdocs) with expertise or interest in quantum photonics, quantum information, quantum optics, quantum metrology, quantum error correction, topological photonics or machine learning.
