ERATO-SORST Quantum Computation and Information Project invites applications for post-doctoral positions to conduct theoretical research on quantum computation and information science, including quantum cryptography, quantum algorithm, quantum communication, and other fundamental topics on quantum information, or to conduct experimental research on quantum information with photons. Applicants should have earned a PhD in physics, computer science, information science, mathematics, or a related field, have demonstrated an excellent research accomplishment in quantum information science. The positions are being offered for a period of one-year with possible renewal until the end of our project (March 31, 2011). Salary will be in the range JPY5,000,000 - 6,500,000 per year, depending upon qualifications and experience.

ERATO-SORST Quantum Computation and Information Project, funded by Japan Science and Technology (JST) Agency, is located in the front of The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan.
