Angelakis in the Centre of Quantum Technologies (CQT) ( The group's research interests span most aspects of theoretical quantum optics and its applications in implementing quantum computation and quantum simulation of many body phenomena.

Workshop topics include BosonSampling, quantum walks, optical quantum computing, foundations of quantum mechanics, group theory in multi-photon interferometry, implementations, and scalability. The workshop will be held at the Shanghai Branch of the Division of Quantum Physics and Quantum Information within the Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at Microscale, which is part of the University of Science and Technology of China.
