Quantum Lectures 2022

In alternative to the 2022 edition of the traditional “Quantum 20XX” conference series in Torino, postponed due to pandemic limitations to travelling, we decided to organize, to commemorate the 20 years since the departure of our colleague and friend Carlo Novero, the online event “Quantum Lectures 2022 (ad memoriam of Carlo Novero)”.

The QCHS 2022 summer school aims to connect junior researchers in quantum science and technology across Switzerland and abroad and thus stimulate future collaborative works. In particular, it will gather PhD candidates and Master's student from a range of different backgrounds, spanning from theorists working with quantum algorithms to experimentalists working with quantum technologies.

As the organisers, we would like to bring your attention to our mini-colloquium “Emerging trends in many-body cavity quantum electrodynamics”, which will be part of the IOP conference CMD29. The summer school "Nanotechnology meets Quantum Information" (NanoQI'22) provides an introduction to the basics and recent advances in several main areas of quantum information theory and solid-state-based quantum technologies. Both the physics of different implementations of quantum information and technologies and the relevant theoretical methods are covered.
