The launch of the projects funded within the QuantERA Call 2017 will be officially celebrated at the Projects’ Launch Event in Bucharest, Romania.

Quantum Physics and Logic is an annual conference that brings together researchers working on mathematical foundations of quantum physics, quantum computing, and related areas, with a focus on structural perspectives and the use of logical tools, ordered algebraic and category-theoretic structures, formal languages, semantical methods, and other computer science techniques applied to the study of physical behaviour in general. Work that applies structures and methods inspired by quantum theory to other fields (including computer science) is also welcome.
A fully-funded PhD position is available immediately at the JARA Institute for Quantum Information of the Jülich Research Center (Germany). The doctoral projects will focus on theoretical studies of physical implementations of quantum information processing, such as superconducting qubits, and related enabling quantum technologies. The projects will be supervised by Dr. Catelani and will involve collaborations with leading experimental groups, in particular based in Aalto University (Finland).
Chapman University is honored to host the 7th International Workshop on Quantum Simulation and Quantum Walks 2018, in Orange, California from March 3rd through 4th, 2018. Immediately preceding this workshop is another Chapman hosted event, the AAV Conference - Celebrating 30 Years of Weak Values from March 1st - 2nd.
Also, note that the March Meeting of the American Physical Society takes place the following week (March 5 - 9) in Los Angeles, CA, which is near Chapman University campus, providing a third reason to come visit us in sunny Southern California.

With increasing global interest in exploiting quantum technologies, the COST Connect event will provide networking opportunities that link active researchers with representatives from the Quantum sector and EU stakeholders.
The COST Connect Event “Quantum: Where will the next jump go?" will be a highly interactive event that will bring together stakeholders working within the Quantum Science field.
We are looking for a co-investigator in a project “Study of magic and magic-zero wavelength in optical lattice clocks with blue-detuned lattice”.
PhD positions open at the Grenoble Alpes University, in Quantum Information Theory, with a particular focus on quantum error correction.
It is part of the Computer Science work package of the Grenoble Quantum Engineering project.

“Quantum Frontiers and Fundamentals 2018” is an international conference that will be held from 30 April to 4 May 2018 in Bangalore (India), hosted by the Raman Research Institute.
At the centre for quantum information, KIST (Korea Institute of Science and Technology), we are seeking highly motivated early career researchers and PhD students who intend to enhance his or her career on the experimental quantum optics and quantum information.
