3-year Postdoc in Quantum Information Theory in the group of David Jennings

Application Deadline: 3rd January 2021.

Applications are now open for a 3-year postdoctoral position in Quantum Information Theory, based in the Theoretical Physics Group, in the University of Leeds.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate with a background in Quantum Information Theory, Mathematics or Computer Science. The proposed research lies at the interface between abstract Quantum Information Theory and work towards Quantum Technologies & Quantum Computing. Applications from candidates with experience on either side of this interface are particularly welcome.

In light of current covid19 restrictions, flexibility is available in terms of the start of the postdoc position.

The University of Leeds is located in Yorkshire, England. It is 30 minutes from both York and Sheffield, and 2 hours outside London by train.
My group is based in the Theoretical Physics Group at Leeds which has a strong focus on Quantum Information Science research. In 2021 we will be relocating into the new Bragg Centre for Research that will house Physics, Computing and Engineering.
