Your tasks as a PhD-student will include:

- Participation in research activities of Prof C Schuck’s group, including the planning and execution of independent scientific projects in the area of nanophotonics and superconducting single-photon detectors.
- Strong contributions to collaborative research projects on quantum sensing and quantum communication with national and international partners in academia and industry.
- The fabrication and characterization of samples in chemical and physical processes. Work in a clean room environment.
- Construction and maintenance of laboratory setups. Work with lasers, electrical instruments, high-vacuum equipment and cryogenic environments.
