The Center for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CTP PAS) invites applications for one PhD Candidate / Research Assistant position in the newly established Center for Quantum-Enabled Computing.
The successful candidate will join the Semiconductor Polariton Group, led by Prof. Michaล Matuszewski, and work on theoretical and computational aspects of quantum computing with polaritons, including light-matter interactions in semiconductors, exciton-polaritons, quantum optics, neuromorphic physical systems, and quantum technologies.
๐ฏ Salary: PLN 9,600 gross/month, 1 FTE

๐ป Work arrangement: Hybrid

We are looking for a motivated candidate with a Masterโs degree in physics or mathematics, very good knowledge of quantum physics, familiarity with basic concepts of quantum optics, good programming skills, and motivation to work in an interdisciplinary team.
