The Group led by Prof. Radim Filip at Palacky University ( is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher in the area of theoretical quantum optics and quantum non-Gaussian states operations with light. Expertise with non-Gaussian and hybrid quantum optics will be valued, but an open-minded researcher ready for a new challenge is most welcome. The targets are feasible highly nonlinear operations with propagating and stored light based on quantum non-Gaussian states and detectors, including analysis of their performance and applications.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in physics and ideally have a strong background in theoretical quantum physics and quantum technologies. He/she is expected to collaborate with an Assoc. Prof. Petr Marek, the experimental group led by Prof. Akira Furusawa at ( inside the joint project and with the experimental groups led by Prof. Julien Laurat ( and Prof. Nicolas Treps
