Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to contribute to our theoretical efforts in quantum control of microwave cavities using nonlinear superconducting devices and their applications in quantum technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with other team members, broader team of Prof. Radim Filip at Palacký University, and the group of Prof. Steven Girvin at Yale University. The initial appointment is for one year with possible extension depending on performance.

Responsibilities
- Conduct innovative theoretical research in superconducting quantum systems.
- Develop and analyze theoretical models and protocols for efficient control of microwave cavity modes.
- Collaborate with other team members, external collaborators, and experimental physicists.
- Publish findings in top-tier scientific journals.
- Present research at international conferences and seminars.

Ideal candidate profile
- A Ph.D. degree in theoretical quantum optics, quantum information, or condensed matter physics awarded within the last three years.
- Proficiency in relevant mathematical and computational methods, particularly open quantum systems.
- At least two first-author publications or preprints.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
