Quantum information theory in Berlin

We investigate the fundamental principles of quantum information processing and complex quantum many-body systems. Using methods from mathematical physics, quantum information theory and computational science, we seek a deeper understanding of quantum phenomena while addressing the fundamental challenges underlying emerging quantum technologies. Our research spans quantum computing, quantum error correction, quantum algorithms, quantum communication and the study of strongly correlated quantum matter.
