quantum computation

Dates:

Monday, September 13, 2021 to Friday, September 17, 2021

Registration deadline:

Sunday, September 12, 2021

The Second Kyoto Workshop on Quantum Information, Computation, and Foundation (QICF21) will focus on device independent quantum information processing, resource theories, quantum statistical comparison, quantum combs, quantum designs, the geometry of the state space, foundations of quantum theory, quantum communication, quantum computing, quantum computational complexity, quantum cryptography, and other related topics.

The Quantum Physics group directed by Prof. Luigi Amico at the Quantum Research Center, Technology Innovation Institute recently established in Abu Dhabi (UAE), is seeking to fill a postdoctoral position. Theoretical research will be conducted in collaboration with Dr. Gianluigi Catelani (JARA Institute for Quantum Information, Jülich Research Center, Germany).

The Trapped Ion Quantum Technology group at Stockholm University invites applications for a postdoctoral position for our trapped Rydberg ion project. The successful postdoc applicant will work on an trapped ion experiment to perform fast quantum gates and quantum algorithms via Rydberg interaction.

Applications are invited for PhD scholarships in quantum computation at the National University of Ireland Galway.
Initially, to discuss/formulate a research topic for the application, contact Dr. M. Mc Gettrick at michael.mcgettrick@nuigalway.ie.
The full details of the application procedures, eligibility, etc. are at http://www.nuigalway.ie/hardiman-scholarships/

Applications are invited for an MSCA Individual Fellowship at the National University of Ireland Galway. Areas of interest include

  • quantum computation
  • quantum information
  • quantum walks
  • quantum games
  • quantum algorithms
  • subjects close to the above
