PhD scholarship in theoretical quantum information science is available at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research, Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland. Successful candidate will work within the team led by Prof. Alexander Streltsov on one of the following topics:
- Quantum resource theories
- Quantum communication and quantum computation
- Open quantum systems
Applications are invited for 1 PhD and 1 Postdoctoral position in the areas of quantum cryptography and quantum foundations at QICI Quantum Information and Computation Initiative of the Department of Computer Science, The University of Hong Kong.

This PhD program will explore whether interesting states of matter can be created by active temporal manipulation of the light-matter couplings. The theoretical project will be supervised by Dr Mikolaj K. Schmidt and Prof. Michael J. Steel from Macquarie University, and the student will join the thriving Sydney Quantum Academy to take classes on various aspects of quantum technology from the world-leading experts.
Center for Theoretical Physics of Polish Academy of Sciences (CTP PAS) will be opening a fully funded PhD position within the doctoral school Warsaw4PhD, with a start date of October 1st, 2024. We will be looking for a candidate to join the project "Studies of Spectrum Broadcast Structures in Quantum Open Systems Models", carried on at CTP and financed by National Science Center (NCN). The principal investigator is dr Jarek Korbicz. The project combines modern open quantum systems theory, quantum information, and foundations of quantum mechanics.
