Several PhD scholarships (both theory and experiment) are available through the Macquarie University node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Engineered Quantum Systems (EQuS) Each 3-year scholarship covers the national/international tuition fees (International: 42,720 AUD/yr), and provides an annual stipend of 27,082 AUD. The PhD provides support for travel and research costs and opportunity for frequent interaction with researchers and students in the other nodes of EQuS. Macquarie University is located in Sydney, Australia.

Dear colleagues,

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Paderborn, Germany, is seeking to recruit motivated Masters and Ph.D. students in theoretical quantum computation, with a focus on the areas of quantum algorithms, computational complexity theory, and/or cryptography.

We seek for a talented and independent graduate student who wishes to develop her/his scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment. This doctoral degree project will be carried out in the quantum photonics group led by Ana Predojevic ( The successful candidate should have interest in quantum technologies, specifically quantum information and communication.
