The position is in the group of Dimitris G. Angelakis in the Centre for Quantum Technologies Singapore (www.dimitrisangelakis.org). We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a strong research background and a PhD in quantum physics or quantum information and/or condensed matter or related discipline with experience in research in quantum algorithms and/or quantum machine learning.

A fixed term postdoctoral appointment is available for 24 months in the Department of Physics, to work in the group of Professor Tim Spiller on an Innovate UK- funded project “3QN: Towards A New UK Industry for Novel Quantum Receivers in Nascent Satellite QKD Global Markets”.

Quantum Engineering Science and Technology (QUEST) group at University of Massachusetts, Lowell and the National Institute of Standards & Technology are looking for a motivated postdoctoral researcher to start as soon as possible. Superconducting circuits represent a very promising platform for actualizing quantum information processors. This postdoctoral research opportunity will involve design, fabrication and characterization of superconducting qubit systems. The primary focus of the research will be stabilizing entangled quantum states of multiple superconducting qubits.

Palacky University in Olomouc, Czech Republic, announces one post-doc and one Ph.D.-student positions in theory of quantum information processing with photonic continuous variables, funded within EU Quantum Flagship and a national research project. The research will be applied to quantum communications and experimental-theoretical collaboration with the leading experimental groups in the field is foreseen. The International Institute of Physics of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (IIP-UFRN) is expecting to fill two post-doctoral research positions in the fields of theoretical Quantum Information, Quantum Causality and Foundations of Quantum Mechanics.
