We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher (precisely, "project assistant professor," ("tokunin-jokyo" in Japanese)) at Le Gall's group of MEXT Q-LEAP QuAI flagship project to work in Mie University on theoretical aspects of quantum computing and quantum cryptography, especially on the following subjects: quantum algorithms, quantum complexity theory, and (post-)quantum cryptography. Please check the details on this recruitment page.

We are offering 1 PhD/postdoctoral position to well-qualified, highly motivated, and dynamic young scientists who wish to enhance their scientific career in a stimulating environment.

We are offering 1 PhD & 1 postdoctoral position to well-qualified, highly motivated, and dynamic young scientists who wish to enhance their scientific career in a stimulating environment.

Post-doctoral position in
Quantum Computing Applications in Chemistry and Materials Science

The postdoctoral researcher, appointed for 2 years, will be responsible for developing new algorithms for the design and optimization of variational wavefunctions that can be implemented on NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) computers, using methods such as the Variational Quantum Eigensolver. The candidate should hold a PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science or related topics.

We are seeking candidates for a post-doc position (Assegno di Ricerca) at Politecnico di Milano aimed at Post Doctoral researchers who have completed their PhD.

The goal of the research project is to explore synergies between quantum computing and machine learning. The project aims to explore how quantum computing can be used for machine learning and recommender systems tasks, as well as how machine learning can be used to improve the effectiveness of quantum computers (circuit optimization, variational algorithms, etc).
