We are looking for a postdoc or staff scientist to work on experiments on cold alkali atoms integrated with nanophotonics devices for research into trapping and nonlinear optics/single photon generation. Position is for 2 to 4 years, depending on the candidate and can be at a junior (postdoc) or senior (staff scientist, 5 years post-PhD) level. The successful candidate will join an existing experiment to work with the PhD students and other researchers. Staff scientist positions may be extended further.
Postdoctoral research positions are available in the Department of Mathematics at Bilkent University to work with Asst. Prof. Cihan Okay on the project titled "Topology of quantum resources: Homotopical methods in resource theories for quantum information and quantum computing" funded by the Air Force Office of Scientific Research.
Applications submitted by June 15, 2022, will receive full consideration for the starting date of October 1, 2022. (PS. Previous deadline is extended.)
What
We offer several postdoctoral research positions in quantum information theory. Potential research topics include the following:
The Theoretical Physics Group in the Department of Physics at the University of Warwick is seeking to recruit an Assistant Professor with an outstanding research track record in one or more relevant areas such as quantum computation, simulation, verification, sensing and imaging. Research plans that mesh closely with on-going activities or those opening new avenues for the Group will be welcome.
The Institute of Physics II at the University of Cologne is looking for junior talents with expertise in the field of device physics to extend strategically the institute's research spectrum of experimental condensed matter physics. The candidate will actively participate in the teaching of experimental condensed matter physics and quantum technologies and be part of the Cluster of Excellence ”Matter and Light for Quantum Computing” (ML4Q) which is a cooperation by the universities of Cologne, Aachen, Bonn and the Forschungszentrum Jülich.
