We invite applications for a postdoctoral position at the Security and Quantum Information Group (http://sqig.math.tecnico.ulisboa.pt) at Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT), University of Lisbon.

The Group consists of 14 senior researcher and postdocs, and 9 graduate students.

Research interests of the Group include security, cryptography, quantum information, complexity, and formal methods. The group local collaboration includes experimental quantum optics group from IT-Aveiro and industry partners, such as Tekever.

We have an opening for a postdoctoral position in theoretical quantum photonics. The position will be based at the University of Zaragoza in Spain. The expected term of appointment is two years, starting between September 2019 and December 2019.

For our group at the University of Siegen (Germany) we are looking for a motivated PhD student in the field of quantum information theory, foundations of quantum theory, and quantum optics. Palacky University in Olomouc, Czech Republic, announces a postdoctoral position in the field of quantum metrology and sensing. The main objective of the project is to develop new techniques or use the existing state-of-the-art methods in quantum metrology to some physical applications, such as quantum communication, quantum optomechanics, or interferometry with active elements. Applicants are welcome with a background in estimation theory or metrology/sensing or in any of the mentioned fields of application.

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoc to join our Emmy-Noether research group in Theoretical Quantum Physics, starting off on 1.August at the LMU Munich. The candidates are expected to have strong analytic skills, ideally with a background in fermionic quantum systems and reduced density matrices. Mathematical Physicists are encouraged to apply as well. Our projects are concerning the interface of Quantum Information Theory and Quantum Many-Body Physics.
