Project Description
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position at the Centre for Quantum Computer Science, University of Latvia, lead by prof. Andris Ambainis. The Centre is among the strongest European research groups in quantum algorithms and currently consists of 4 faculty members and 13 postdocs and graduate students.
Research interests of the Centre include quantum algorithms, quantum complexity theory, quantum communication and nonlocality, and questions in classical computer science.
Quantum.Tech is the first conference & exhibition covering the emerging commercial applications of quantum technologies. Tackling the spectrum of quantum technology, from quantum computing to sensing & metrology and secure communications & cryptography, this global forum will help Fortune 1000 enterprises understand and navigate the quantum landscape, assess risks and opportunities, and help senior executives build a roadmap for quantum readiness.
The Quantum.Tech conference & exhibition brings together the entire quantum ecosystem. World leaders in quantum:
The Silicon Quantum Technology group (http://www.sfu.ca/physics/siliconquantum/), based at Simon Fraser University (SFU) in Metro Vancouver, Canada, invites applications for a postdoctoral experimentalist position, available immediately, on the subject of quantum repeater and quantum network development.
The focus of the PhD project will be the development of quantum algorithms with the aim of near-term implementation on NISQ machines. The project will primarily involve the theoretical analysis of quantum algorithms and their implementations, but it could also involve the study of structural features of quantum information theory relevant to the NISQ regime (such as quantum entanglement and other resources).
Applications are invited for a post-doctoral position (1-year duration) in the theoretical Quantum Optics and Quantum Thermodynamics research group of B. Prasanna Venkatesh at the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar (India). Please see the following webpage for the official advertisement and more details:
