Applicants should have a PhD in mathematics, theoretical physics or computer science, and have a special interest in/prior experience with quantum error correction, as well as continuous-variable quantum information theory.

The newly-funded Center for Quantum Technology of Hsinchu, Taiwan is hiring a postdoctoral researcher working in the area of quantum cryptography. The hired candidate will be based in the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) at Tainan, Taiwan and will be working closely with Yeong-Cherng Liang from NCKU, Kai-Min Chung from the Academia Sinica of Taiwan, and the experimental quantum optics team led by Chih-Sung Chuu from the National Tsinghua University of Taiwan.
