The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, building, training, and deploying machine learning models on Xanadu’s cutting-edge specialized quantum computing hardware. As part of our Quantum Machine Learning team, they will participate in multiple aspects of machine learning research and development targeted to near-term quantum devices. Other duties may include the training of traditional (non-quantum) machine learning models for comparison and benchmarking purposes.
We are inviting applications for a two-year Postdoc position in the group of Prof. David Hunger at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany (www.phi.kit.edu/hunger.php). The group is exploring applications of fiber-based optical microcavities in the fields of solid state quantum optics, optical sensing, microscopy, spectroscopy, and optomechanics.

We are searching for a talented and motivated PhD student who is interested in experimental quantum optics and quantum information with trapped ions. The research will focus on the investigation of trapped strontium Rydberg ions.
Trapped Rydberg ions are a novel system for quantum technologies. By laser light, the ions’ outermost electrons are excited to high-lying orbitals. Such Rydberg ions are million times bigger than ions in the ground state, and due to their size, they obtain very peculiar properties.
Candidates are sought for a PhD position in Theoretical Physics at l'Institut de Nanosciences de Paris (Sorbonne université) to be supervised by Dr Alex Chin. The project involves the simulation and theory of open quantum systems, with a focus on using new Tensor Network methods as a way to access the non-perturbative, real-time physics of excitons interacting with molecular vibrations in organic semiconductors and supramolecular nanostructures (see pdf at URL above).

Qubit Protocol is a decentralised blockchain enabled governance protocol that utilises the collective intelligence of the quantum science community to make strategic funding decisions on quantum technology projects. Projects place a proposal onto the Qubit Protocol and then experts and public token holders will be allowed to vote on the most meritorious projects to be funded.
The Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) invites applications for one or two postdoctoral positions in the area of theoretical quantum information and many-body physics. The successful candidate will join the Junior Research Group led by Prof Jaeyoon Cho. The group has a broad range of interests in quantum information and many-body theories. APCTP is situated at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Korea, and provides a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment for theoretical physicists.
The Conference will continue the work of the Italian Quantum community and agenda, first set in Camerino in 2008. It aims to bring together many researchers from Italy and around the world. We are looking for a co-investigator in a QuantEra project “Cavity-Enhanced Quantum Optical Clocks” (Q-Clocks). Q-Clocks seeks to establish a new frontier in the quantum measurement of time by joining state-of-the-art optical lattice clocks and the quantized electromagnetic field provided by an optical cavity. The goal of the project is to apply advanced quantum techniques to state-of-the-art optical lattice clocks, demonstrating enhanced sensitivity while preserving long coherence times and the highest accuracy.
