We invite applications for three postdoctoral positions in quantum error correction. Each position is for a period of 18 to 24 months, and is hosted by the error correction research group at CEA-LETI, a research institute for electronics and information technologies, based in Grenoble, France. The successful candidates will conduct research in one of the following three topics:

(1) Quantum polar codes, including but not restricted to, polar encoded fault-tolerant quantum computation.

(2) Quantum LDPC codes, including but not restricted to, message passing and machine learning techniques for decoding quantum LDPC codes

(3) Scalable hardware architectures and implementations of topological and quantum LDPC decoders.

The quantum error correction research group is part of the interdisciplinary QuantAlps ecosystem for quantum science and technologies, spanning from theoretical computer science to experimental quantum engineering, and involving research teams from the Grenoble Alpes University and CNRS. The positions are part of the QUANTERA/EQUIP and ANR/NISQ2LSQ collaborative research projects, and interaction with other partners will be encouraged.

Starting date: flexible, from June 2023 to June 2024.

To apply, please email the following information to valentin.savin@cea.fr: a CV including a list of publications, a cover letter describing your research experience and relevance to one of the three positions advertised, the contact information of two references.
