The subject includes quantum sensing, i.e. quantum mechanical methods for precision measurements or sensing of forces, fields or time with ultracold atoms, ions, molecules or photons.
The position is supported by the Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology (WACQT), a 12-year initiative aimed to bring Swedish academia and industry to the forefront of quantum technology. The centre is funded mainly by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation with additional contributions from the participating universities and industry.
