The Quantum Information Group at the Institute of Theoretical Physics invites applications for four positions as a
Research Assistant (67% - 100%)
Salary Scale 13 TV-L
to be appointed as soon as possible.
These positions are parts of different third-party funded projects and therefore differently limited. They are open for Postdocs, as well as graduate students.
Responsibilities and duties
The skills are to develop new theoretical and numerical tools to investigate the areas of Quantum Information theory, Statistical Mechanics of complex Quantum systems, and gravitational decoherence.
Employment conditions
Applicants should have graduated in physics or have a PhD in a related field. Detailed and in-depth prior knowledge of theoretical physics, especially in the field of Quantum Information theory, is requested.
