At the Faculty of Physics and the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Vienna the position of a University Professor of Quantum Algorithms (full time, permanent position) is to be filled.
The candidate should have established herself/himself as a leader in the field of quantum information science and quantum computing. He/she is expected to start a research group at the University of Vienna at the interface between mathematics, physics and computer science with a focus on quantum algorithms.
