The Department of Physics at the University of Siegen invites applications for a
Junior professorship (W1) for theoretical quantum optics
with tenure-track option for a permanent professorship (W2)
Candidates are expected to a have an outstanding research experience in quantum information theory, possible topics are the theory of quantum correlations or the foundations of quantum mechanics. Collaboration with existing research efforts in theoretical quantum optics are expected, further collaborations with groups in experimental or theoretical physics or mathematics are desired.
