The research group Q3, led by Prof. Igor Jex, opens a post-doc position in the field of quantum technologies. A candidate, who has sufficient background in quantum physics and expertise either in the theory of open quantum systems or quantum walks and related dynamical models, is expected to work closely with one or more of the senior members of our team, and at the same time bring their own character to the research conducted in the group. We also require a valid PhD degree in a relevant field by the time of the planned start, and a sufficient level in English. The preferred starting date of the position is 1st October 2021. A different starting date may be negotiated.
