Postdoc position on “estimation and control of open quantum systems”

As part of Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) project “Q-COAST (https://anr.fr/Projet- ANR-19-CE48-0003)”, a postdoc position based in Paris region, will be opened in fall 2022. The successful candidate will work under the joint supervision of Nina Amini (CNRS, Université Paris- Saclay), John Gough (Professor, Aberystwyth University), and Madalin Guta (Professor, University of Nottingham).
We seek a motivated, skilled and highly independent researcher to complement our team, who will actively contribute to the research activities at the overlap of the broad areas of mathematical physics, quantum statistical mechanics, quantum estimation, filtering and feedback, open quantum systems, quantum control and information. Strong track record in at least one of the areas or their overlap is required. The candidate should hold a PhD degree in a relevant subject area or a closely related discipline or be near to completion of a PhD.

The deadline for the application is 30/09/2022 and the position is open to all nationalities. Application package should include:
