The successful candidate is expected to work on a project in collaboration with Prof. Özgür E. Müstecaplıoğlu from the Department of Physics, Prof. İ. Ersin Yurtsever from the Department of Chemistry, and Prof. Deniz Yüret from the Department of Computer Engineering. This interdisciplinary project, which was started two years ago, focuses on the quantum coherence and correlations possessed by the (bio)molecules within their chemical bonds and aims to reveal the resource value of molecular correlations from the standpoint of quantum information and quantum thermodynamics.

The net monthly salary of the position is 10k Turkish Liras.

Requirements

Applicants must have previous experience in at least one of the following frameworks

- post-Hartree-Fock quantum chemistry methods,
- tensor/neural network-based representation of quantum states,
- fermionic quantum information theory,
- open quantum systems theory,
