A postdoctoral research position is available to work at the Center for Quantum Information at Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). The successful candidate will work on theoretical studies of quantum information science towards near-term quantum processors and quantum communication networks (Research topic: Quantum Error mitigation, Quantum Error Correction, Quantum Control, Quantum Algorithm, Quantum Network etc.) and will intensively collaborate with our experimental group (http://quantum.kist.re.kr/).
Candiates should have obtained PhD in the last 5 years in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related subjects.
The start date is 1st March 2021. The position will last two (1+1) years with the possibility of extension subject to performance.
