The Quantum Physics group directed by Prof. Luigi Amico at the Quantum Research Center, Technology Innovation Institute recently established in Abu Dhabi (UAE), is seeking to fill a postdoctoral position. Theoretical research will be conducted in collaboration with Dr. Gianluigi Catelani (JARA Institute for Quantum Information, Jülich Research Center, Germany).
The ideal candidate should have experience in one or more of these fields: superconductivity, quantum transport, mesoscopics, circuit QED, superconducting qubits, and/or related areas (possibly at the postdoctoral level); be able to perform research independently; be willing to help supervising PhD students.
The position is initially for 2 years, with possible extensions (1 to 2 years) by mutual agreement. The salary is highly competitive, well above average. The start date is flexible. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, so we encourage to apply as soon as possible.
