We have an opening for a postdoctoral position in theoretical quantum photonics. The position will be based at the University of Zaragoza in Spain. The expected term of appointment is two years, starting between September 2019 and December 2019.
Our current interests are quite broad, and include the theory and analysis of light-matter interactions in different platforms (quantum plasmonics, circuit QED, 2D materials or hybrid systems), topological quantum optics, quantum magnetism and light, ultrastrong coupling and many body quantum optics. The candidate should have a working knowledge of theoretical and computational techniques in light-matter interactions and condensed matter physics, for instance on master equations, matrix product states, Green function and path integral techniques. We also appreciate a flair for independent research.
