Postdoctoral Fellowships, Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), Theoretical Quantum Optics/Photonics

Postdoctoral fellow openings are available to work in the areas of nonlinear and quantum optical theory of hybrid coupled systems.

Requirements :

- PhD in theoretical condensed matter physics, theoretical quantum optics, or theoretical photonics.
- An ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Postdoctoral fellows will be expected to travel regularly, presenting their results at international conferences.

Appointment :

SGD 4,500-5,500 per month for starting post-doctoral researchers.
SGD 6,000-7,500 per month for experienced post-doctoral researchers.

The initial appointment is for one year, renewable up to two further years. Research fellows are entitled to 21 working days of paid annual leave, a settling-in allowance of SGD 1,000 (for fellows arriving from overseas), comprehensive medical insurance under the University’s Flexible Benefits Scheme and annual bonus (up to 10% annual salary, subject to performance).
