Postdoctoral Position in Quantum Computing

An exciting theory postdoc position has become available in the group led by Daniel Burgarth at Macquarie University, Sydney. The goal is to bring together error mitigation techniques and hardware-tailored quantum error correction in order to move towards fault-tolerant computation with an intermediate number of qubits. NOTE: the visa backlog for Australia is currently over two years!!! Applicants with existing right to work in Australia will be preferred. However, the situation might change quickly, so we'd still encourage applicants who would require a visa to apply, especially if they have some flexibility for their starting time.
