A postdoctoral position is available in the group of Prof. Alexander Korotkov at the University of California, Riverside. The research projects involve theory of quantum measurement, quantum feedback, and quantum computing with superconducting qubits. Applicants are expected to have previous experience at least in one of the following theoretical areas: quantum computing, quantum measurement, quantum trajectories, Josephson junction devices.
The position is available immediately (anticipated to start in October 2012 - January 2013). Applications are accepted until the position is filled. The initial appointment will be made for one year, with possible extension for one or two more years. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
