We have currently an opening for a post-doctoral researcher in the area of theoretical quantum mechanics, with a focus on ultracold gases, quantum information or quantum biology. The work will be carried out within the Quantum Systems Unit, which is headed by Prof. Thomas Busch. For more information about the group please see https://groups.oist.jp/qsu.

Qualifications: Candidates should have a Ph.D. in theoretical physics or a related discipline, be comfortable working in English, and have demonstrated a creative and independent-minded approach to research.

Term: The appointment is initially for one year with the possibility of renewal for two more years, contingent on satisfactory performance review.
