We are opening a Postdoctoral position in the Quantum and Linear-Optical Computation group at INL in Braga, Portugal (https://inl.int/galvao-research-group/).
The work will be related to quantum computation with continuous-variable bosonic systems in topics such as:
- Characterisation and verification of resources enabling quantum advantage;
- Classical simulation algorithms for noisy quantum devices;
- Boson sampling and related quantum computational advantage proposals;
The hired researcher is expected to work in collaboration with Leonardo Novo, Rui Soares Barbosa, Ernesto Galvão and other international collaborators from the VERIQUB project (https://veriqub.eu/home/project/). The contract lasts until August 2027 but extensions may be possible.
