Applications are invited for the position of Postdoctoral Researcher to work with Peter Bierhorst at the University of New Orleans located in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. The duties will be to perform theoretical research broadly drawn from the fields of quantum nonlocality, quantum information, and/or multi-party quantum networks. While this position is in the mathematics department, applications are actively encouraged from students and researchers with backgrounds in physics, computer science, electrical engineering, or other related fields. This theoretical project is part of a jointly funded collaboration with photonics experimentalist group of Lynden K. Shalm of NIST/CU-Boulder; as such, familiarity with quantum optics may be considered a plus but is not required for performing the research duties of the position. The expected start date is August 2024 though this is flexible. The position will last for two years with the possibility of extension to additional years contingent on satisfactory performance and the availability of funding.

Required Qualifications: The applicant must have completed a PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or another related field upon the start of employment.
