Applications from Indian nationals are invited for the following positions (initially for 1 year) under the project “Topology, quantum computation and spintronics with Dirac materials” in the School of Physical Sciences, NISER, Bhubaneswar, India funded by Dept. of Science and Technology, DST-Nanomisssion, Govt. of India.
1. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE:
Qualification - Candidate should have Ph.D degree in Physics (or, should have submitted the thesis), preferably in theory. Fellowship: Rs.24,000+House Rent Allowance (as per DST norms) per month. Age: Maximum 35 years as on last date of application.
2. PROJECT FELLOW:
Qualification - (i) Candidate should be M.Sc. in Physics/Electronics/Applied Physics/Solid state Physics with atleast 55% marks or B. Tech/M. Tech in allied fields (e.g. Engineering Physics, Electrical/Electronics engineering). (ii) Candidate should have a valid GATE/JEST score or qualified in CSIR/UGC JRF NET or other equivalent test at national level. Fellowship: Rs.16,000 + House Rent Allowance (as per DST norms) per month. Age: Maximum 28 years as on last date of application.
